Welcome to the California Transit Training Consortium (CTTC) Member Portal. This Terms of Use document outlines the rules and regulations for using our Member Portal. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the CTTC Member Portal, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Portal immediately.

2. Portal Services

The CTTC Member Portal offers various services, including but not limited to:

  • Course registration and management
  • Access to course certificates and other course-related information
  • Student management
  • Payment of dues and other charges
  • Communication with other CTTC members

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of the CTTC Member Portal, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information during registration and when using the Portal
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Notify CTTC immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Use the Portal in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account Management

  • Registration: To use certain features of the Portal, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account information.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activities or actions under your account. CTTC cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  • Termination: CTTC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Use or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Portal’s functionality.

5. Course Registration and Certificates

  • Enrollment: Members can register for courses offered through the Portal. Availability and scheduling of courses are subject to change.
  • Certificates: Upon successful completion of a course, members can access their certificates through the Portal. Certificates are only awarded upon meeting all course requirements.

6. Student Management

Members can manage their students’ course registrations, track progress, and access completion certificates through the Portal. It is the member's responsibility to ensure student information is accurate and up to date.

7. Payments and Dues

  • Dues: Members can view and pay for their membership dues and other charges via the Portal.
  • Payment Methods: CTTC accepts various payment methods, which will be displayed during the payment process. Members are responsible for ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner.

8. Communication

The Portal includes features for communication between members, such as chat functionalities. Users are expected to communicate respectfully and professionally. Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or misuse of the communication tools is prohibited and may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Prohibited Activities

Members are prohibited from:

  • Using the Portal for any unlawful purpose
  • Uploading or transmitting any harmful, disruptive, or illegal files
  • Interfering with the security or functionality of the Portal
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Using the Portal to distribute unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or spam

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Portal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CTTC or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

CTTC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Portal, even if CTTC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption.

12. Modifications to Terms

CTTC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be posted on the Portal, and your continued use of the Portal after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms of Use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
